1973 - Lynn Goldsmith portraits
In the spring of 1973, the young rock photographer Lynn Goldsmith came over Horatio Street to do some informal portraits, "bringing a superb bottle of Chianti, which we proceeded to imbibe with considerable gusto" remembers Bebe. Bebe tried on various items of Todd's. Then Lynn said "Let's do some nudes", they spend 3 hours shooting pics in colour and black and white.
When Lynn got them developed, she called Bebe abd said: "Bebe, these pictures are astounding.". When Bebe went to see them, Lynn took her more naked pics.
When Lynn got the second set back from the lab, she told Bebe: "Bebe, I really think we should go to 'Playboy' and 'Penthouse' as a team. a woman photographying a woman nude and getting these kinds of results could be historic".
